Your partner for healthy and productive working conditions
Psychosocial health and risk assessment of mental stress – especially for small businesses
My professional career began over 40 years ago in the commercial-technical sector. Initially as an employee, later – and for the past 17 years – as a department head in middle management. This long-standing and in-depth practical experience has taught me to understand the real challenges, dynamics and stresses of everyday working life first-hand – both from the perspective of employees and managers. I am familiar with the demands placed on a modern manager and the complex interactions within a team.

A decisive turning point in my life was a stress management seminar in February 2019. It sparked my deep interest in psychology and led me to begin my bachelor’s degree in psychology at the FernUniversität in Hagen in October 2019. I completed this degree part-time alongside my demanding professional career, specialising in occupational and organisational psychology. I dedicated my bachelor’s thesis to the connection between psychosocial working conditions and health. I am currently deepening my knowledge in the master’s programme in psychology at the Hamburger Fern-Hochschule, which I am also completing part-time. In this way, I am continuously expanding my psychological expertise.
Why is the risk assessment of psychological stress so important?
In today’s working world, employees and managers are exposed to new and complex challenges and stresses on a daily basis. Psychosocial well-being is not a luxury, but rather the decisive foundation for performance, motivation and sustainable success. Psychological stress risk assessment helps to identify risks such as stress, overload, conflicts or unfavourable working conditions at an early stage and to take targeted countermeasures. It is therefore an important building block for a healthy, productive and attractive working environment.
Holistic support: intervention and prevention
In addition to providing advice and support in assessing psychological stress, I also assist you with intervention measures if psychological stress is already present in your company. I offer individual, solution-oriented measures to stabilise and strengthen your employees and managers – for example, through targeted coaching, resilience training or stress management workshops.
A particular focus is on prevention: healthy, resilient employees are the basis for productivity, motivation and innovative strength. Healthy leadership is equally crucial – it shapes the working atmosphere, promotes employee loyalty and contributes significantly to the success of the company. Through targeted prevention programmes and management coaching, you can lay the foundation for a sustainable, healthy corporate culture.
My focus: Consulting and support in assessing psychological stress risks
Systematic risk assessment of psychological stress is now a central element of modern occupational health and safety – and is required by law for all employers with at least one employee. But it is much more than just an obligation: when implemented correctly, it is an effective tool for sustainably improving the health, motivation and performance of your employees and positioning your company for the future.
As an external consultant, I support you in conducting the risk assessment of psychological stress in a professional, practical and scientifically sound manner. Together with you, I identify stress factors in your company, assess risks and develop tailor-made measures that not only meet legal requirements but also take into account the individual needs of your organisation. You will benefit from my unique combination of practical leadership experience, sound psychological knowledge and numerous additional qualifications – including as a stress management trainer, resilience training course instructor, mental health first aider (MHFA), mental coach and specialist in psychosocial health promotion.
